Meet the team

Dr Gemma Hanks graduated from Cardiff University in 2018, where she won the prestigious Bruce Hunter Prize in Clinical Paediatric Dentistry award after spending her final year at university undertaking, now published, paediatric research. Gemma aims to provide enjoyable dental experiences for all of our patients, especially children. In her free time Gemma is working with the local council and charities to help provide preventative dental treatment within schools.

Gemma has a keen interest in periodontics (gum disease) and provides Special Interest Periodontal treatment. She believes that healthy gums are the key to long lasting dental treatment and helping patients maintain their natural smiles. She is currently undertaking a yearlong periodontic diploma in Harley Street.

Gemma also aims to provide quality, long lasting, restorative dental treatment for all her patients and is also currently undertaking a yearlong diploma in restorative and aesthetic dentistry. Gemma helps patients achieve their dream smile through clear aligner brands as a qualified provider for both Invisalign and 32co.

Catherine joined the practice in 2009, she has an interest in cosmetic dentistry.

Dominique joined the practice in 2023 relocating back to her roots, after 4 years of working in Cardiff. Dominique enjoys all aspects of dentistry and will provide a relaxed, calming approach to your visit to our practice. She has carried out further training in cosmetic restorations and provides “Invisalign Go”. Her principal interest is to provide minimally invasive dentistry.

As a dedicated dental professional with a passion for patient care, I have gained a wealth of experience and expertise spanning more than a decade of education and service to the NHS. Having graduated from U.E.M (Valencia) I have a particular interest in endodontics and restorative dentistry, I have also completed two post graduate certificates; one for dental implants and another on operative dentistry. I am committed towards expanding my knowledge and scope of practice even further.

Above all, I take pride in building strong, lasting relationships with my patients and colleagues. Through effective communication, professionalism, and honesty, I strive to provide the highest standard of care to everyone who comes through our doors.
